Hard day at work?? Try this Martini!! It’s sweet, citrusy, refreshing and it will definetly take the edge off! I made this shaker for my friend Susan and I this Friday night to help her unwind after a long work week. Susan is a dietician at my former job in health education. We began sharing an office together and we instantly became good friends and best calorie-counting buddies. This is the “sugar free” recipe but you could make it with regular lemonade if you prefer.
4 oz. double strength Crystal Light lemonade
4 oz. Vodka
Prepare sugar free lemonade so it is double stregnth. In other words if the lemonade mix pkg says mix 1 pack with 1 quart of water, mix either 2 packs with 1 quart or 1 pack with 1/2 quart. Chill the lemonade and vodka by shaking them with ice in a martini shaker. Strain into sugar-rimmed glasses. Garnish with lemon wedges.
