V-day Cookies

heart cookies

Happy Valentine’s Day! I was busy today making these cookies for my Valentine. When we met it was love at first sight. He stole my heart. He became my best friend, my love. Now he’s the one I fall asleep with every night, and wake up with every morning. He’s there for me whenever I need him and he always has my back. If I’ve had a bad day, I can count on him to bring a smile to my face. He’s smart, funny, and handsome. When I look into his eyes, my heart melts. I love him so much, despite the fact that he occasionally urinates on the carpet. Happy Valentine’s Day, Tide!!! Oh yes, and Jimmy too ;)

Recipe
Yield: 1 dozen cookies
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 egg
2 fish oil pills
1/4 c. water

Puncture a hole in the fish oil capsules and squeeze out oil. Mix with all other ingredients until well combined. Using extra flour, roll out dough with a rolling pin. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. If desired frost cookies by mixing 2-3 Tbsp of cornstarch with a few drops of water and spreading on top once cookies are cooled. I also added a tiny drop of red food dye.
